London: Day Three

Tuesday morning I woke up early, grabbed some toast, and checked out Kensington. The weather was beautiful (for November): blue skies and not too cold.
This is street my hostel was on; the building at the end is the Natural History Museum and just around the corner is the Victoria Albert Museum (unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to check them out when I was there).

Okay so prior to going to London, I had two 2000 word essays due (I literally had to have them in 2 hrs before my train). This was really stressful, as I am a huge procrastinator! A bunch of us went to see Death of a Salesman at a theater in York. It was really good, but some of the actors attempts at an American accent were lacking.
Jenny and I tried a strawberry peach and custard pasty - and it was heaven.

The excitement didn’t stop after I got back from Newcastle. Friday night we (the 4 communal cookers) decided to have burgers. I contributed the ground beef and made the patties (they all found it hilairous that we call them patties). Then Catrin and I put them under the grill (kind of like a broiler) and closed the door. While my program includes a weekend trip to London, due to some schuduleing and commuication issues, it was scheduled the weekend I arrived at York.
